1. New “Reset via Branch” option for forgotten password
2. Optimized bill payment services to remain unaffected by severe weather

 

B. Upgrade Content

1. New “Reset via Branch” option for forgotten password

To enhance customer convenience, the “Forgot Password” function in Mobile Banking Services now include a new “Reset via Branch” option. Customer can visit any branch in person to reset password immediately, further improving service efficiency.

 

2. Optimized bill payment services to remain unaffected by severe weather

To provide more convenient service for customers, starting from 27 April 2026, bill payment instructions submitted via Internet Banking and Mobile Banking Services will no longer be affected by severe weather conditions (including Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, Black Rainstorm Warning, or “Extreme Conditions” announced by the HKSAR Government).
