| I. | General Terms & Conditions | |||||||||
| 1. | This promotion is available from 4 February 2022 to 31 March 2022 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”). | |||||||||
| 2. | The relevant reward is only applicable to new customers who have opened personal account successfully at Chong Hing Bank Limited (the “Bank”). Each new customer is not entitled to receive the reward for more than once during the Promotion Period. | 3. | The reward is not applicable to eligible customers of Exceed Banking Welcome Reward. For details, please contact the Bank's staff. | |||||||
| 4. | The reward granted cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged for other reward or redeemed for cash. | |||||||||
| 5. | The Bank reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, vary or terminate this promotion and to amend these terms and conditions at any time without any notice. The decision of the Bank on all matters relating to the promotion, including but not limited to the relevant rewards shall be final and binding on the customers and participants. New customers who successfully open a personal account with the Bank during the period from 7 January to 31 January 2022 is subject to the terms and conditions of the “New Customer Welcome Reward Promotion” published in January 2022. The new customers who successfully open a personal account with the Bank during the period from 4 February to 31 March 2022 are bound by updated version of these terms and conditions. | 6. | All non-Hong Kong Dollar currency balances and transaction amounts will be converted into Hong Kong Dollar based on the exchange rates quoted by the Bank at its sole discretion from time to time for calculation purpose under this promotion. | |||||||||
| 7. | The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance shall not apply to this promotion and/or the related rewards. | |||||||||
| 8. | The promotion materials thereof, these terms and conditions are construed in accordance with, and are governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. | |||||||||
| 9. | Employees of any member of the Chong Hing Bank Group are ineligible to join this promotion. | |||||||||
| 10. | In case of any inconsistencies between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail. | |||||||||
| 11. | Unless otherwise expressly provided, the Bank’s Account Terms and the Credit Card Cardholder Agreement subject to changes from time to time shall also apply to this promotion while their latest copies are available at any Hong Kong branch of the Bank or its website (www.chbank.com) In the event and to the extent of any inconsistency among them, the priority of precedence shall be in the descending order of these terms and conditions, the terms and conditions of relevant the Cardholder Agreements and Account Terms. | |||||||||
| II. | Other Terms & Conditions | |||||||||
| 1. |
To enjoy the reward, new customer must open a personal account successfully at any branch in Hong Kong of the Bank and has fulfilled all of the following requirements during the Promotion Period (“Eligible Customer”). Rewards are limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis, which shall cease without prior notice by the Bank. The requirements are as follows: i. “New Customer” refers the customer who has not held any single name and/or joint name account (except credit card account) with the Bank in the 12 months prior to account opening; and who ii. brings in deposits and/or transfer-in investment funds to the account(s) under his/her sole name at the Bank after his/her successful account opening, and maintains the Bank’s designated Monthly Average Total Asset Balance (stated in Table 1) within the designated period (stated in Table 2). | 2. | “Monthly Average Total Asset Balance” refers to the aggregate monthly average account credit balance of all deposits, market value of investment funds, value of equity linked investments and currency linked deposit under the Eligible Customer's name at the Bank. For joint name account, its “Monthly Average Total Asset Balance” is calculated by the average amount of customer as its account holders. | |||||||||
| 3. | The Bank's record will be conclusive as to the month of account opening and the amount of Monthly Average Total Asset Balance. The Bank reserves the right of final decision on any dispute in eligibility to reward, the definition and calculation of the Monthly Average Total Asset Balance, which shall be binding on the customers and participants concerned for purpose of this promotion. | |||||||||
| 4. | The reward will be awarded in the form of Credit Card Cash Rebate. Eligible Customer will be granted the reward on or before the designated credit date if he/she has maintained the Bank’s designated Monthly Average Total Asset Balance until the date as set out in Table 2 below. | |||||||||
| 5. | To receive the reward, the Eligible Customer has to maintain a valid personal account with the Bank and his/her Credit Card account status must be normal, valid, in good standing without overdue payment, and has not been cancelled / terminated for any reason at the time when the reward is credited thereto.

| 6. | The granted reward will be credited into the Eligible Customer's Chong Hing Credit Card (of which such Eligible Customer is the principal cardholder) and will be shown on such credit card account monthly statement. “Chong Hing Credit Card” refers to Chong Hing UnionPay Dual Currency Diamond Card, Chong Hing Platinum Card, MAN Titanium Credit Card or MAN Platinum Credit Card. The granted reward will be credited according to either of the Chong Hing Credit Card according to the following descending priority: Chong Hing UnionPay Dual Currency Diamond Card, Platinum Credit Card or Titanium Credit Card. | |||||||||
| 7. | If an Eligible Customer does not have any Chong Hing Credit Card or is not the principal cardholder of any Chong Hing Credit Card during the Promotion Period, he/she must apply for a Chong Hing Credit Card and such application must be approved before the reward is awarded, otherwise such reward will be cancelled or deemed as waived automatically without any notice. | |||||||||
| 8. | The Credit Card Cash Rebate is for subsequent retail purchase with the designated Chong Hing Credit Card only and shall not be used for cash advance, settlement or offset of financial charge/any outstanding card balance before such cash rebate is awarded. | |||||||||
| 9. | The investment funds being transferred to the Eligible Customer's account with the Bank must be the investment funds or share classes then distributed by the Bank. | |||||||||
| 10. | Whether transfer of the investment fund to an account with the Bank can be successfully processed or not will depend on and is subject to consent by the fund houses, fund managers and/or trustees of the investment fund to such transfer and/or any other applicable restrictions. Customers shall bear the fees (if any) charged in respect of the transfer of investment funds by the other financial institutions. | |||||||||
| 11. | The account holder's name of the investment fund being transferred from other financial institutions must be the same to the investment account holder's name of the Eligible Customer at the Bank. | |||||||||
| 12. | The investment fund amount transferred to the Eligible Customer's account with the Bank is calculated based on the unit price of the investment fund on the last trading day of the calendar month prior to submission of his/her application by the customers. If the currency of the said transfer-in amount is not in Hong Kong dollar, such transfer-in amount will be converted into Hong Kong dollar based on exchange rate determined by the Bank from time to time for purpose of this promotion. | |||||||||
| 13. | Application for transfer of investment fund to the Eligible Customer's account with the Bank is subject to the final approval of the Bank at its sole and absolute discretion without disclosing any reason. | |||||||||
| 14. | Any investment funds transferred to the Bank have to be registered and held in the name of the Bank's nominee. | |||||||||
| 15. | This promotion shall be available within Hong Kong only. |
