Notice on Update to Corporate Internet Banking Services Features (August 2026)

 

Thank you for using the Corporate Internet Banking Services and Mobile Banking Services (collectively, the "Corporate Internet Banking Services") of Chong Hing Bank Limited (the "Bank"). Please be informed that the Bank's Corporate Internet Banking Services will be enhanced with effect from 16 August 2026 and 21 August 2026 respectively as follows:

1. Enhancement of “Set Up eDDA Service”
The "Set Up eDDA Service" will be enhanced to include the management of Electronic Direct Debit Authorisations (“eDDA”) instructions "As Payee (Collection)". The original function "Set up eDDA Service" will be split into two sub-functions: "As Payer (Transfer)" and "As Payee (Collection)". All users who have already been assigned the "Set up eDDA Service" function will be automatically configured with both sub-functions after the system enhancement on 16 August 2026.
Additionally, besides the existing functions such as approving, modifying, and deleting instructions, a new feature to establish new eDDA instructions will be added after the system enhancement on 16 August 2026. Customers will be able to initiate eDDA instructions through Corporate Internet Banking without the need to visit a branch and complete physical forms.

2. New "Collection" Function
After the system enhancement on 21 August 2026, a new "Collection" function will be introduced under the "Transfer" feature. This allows customers to collect payments based on authorised eDDA without the need to visit a branch and complete physical forms.
For Corporate Internet Banking customers with Joint Authorities, starting from 21 August 2026, if they wish to use the "Collections" functions, administrator-role users have to set the relevant functions and account permissions for the required users via "Management Center - User Management" before conducting transactions. Please note that if the customer’s "Authorisation Mode Settings" apply to "All" transaction accounts and "All" transaction types, the relevant settings will also cover "Collection" transactions. Otherwise, administrator-role users should configure the relevant settings via "Management Center - Authorisation Management - Authorisation Mode Settings.”

3. Enhancements of Mobile Token and Easy Logon Services
After the system enhancement on 21 August 2026, the registration process for the Easy Logon service will be integrated into the Mobile Token registration process. Customers can optionally activate the Easy Logon service when registering the Mobile Token Service. The relevant settings will take effect simultaneously with the activation of the Mobile Token service.

4. Important Notes on Scheduled Telegraphic Transfer (“TT”) Transactions
To optimise our wire transfer functions, our Corporate Internet Banking will undergo a system upgrade on 14 November 2026. To ensure a smooth transition, effective immediately until the upgrade on 23 October 2026, we will temporarily suspend accepting telegraphic transfer applications scheduled for execution on or after 14 November 2026. Any such scheduled transactions already submitted will be automatically cancelled. If you wish to schedule TT transactions for execution on or after 14 November 2026, please resubmit your requests on or after 24 October 2026. During this period, customers can still schedule TT transactions to be executed on or before 13 November 2026. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
