Fund Transfer Service

Through our Corporate Internet Banking Services or Corporate Mobile Banking Services, you can arrange fund transfers to registered/unregistered accounts (Two-factor authentication is required for transferring funds to unregistered accounts) of other local banks. Please note that the above service is limited to fund transfers in the same currency of HKD or RMB between different bank accounts.

You can transfer funds by means of payee's Hong Kong mobile phone number, email address, FPS Identifier or any local bank account number.

When your transaction is accepted and processed by the Bank, funds will be directly deposited into the designated bank account of the payee.

Most of the receiving banks/institutions will conduct name checking according to their relevant procedures, and the payment instruction may eventually be rejected because the name of the beneficiary does not match the records of the banks/institutions. Please verify carefully the beneficiary's name, account number and other payment details.

Electronic Direct Debit Authorization (eDDA) Service

You have to provide or input the necessary information and complete the related process via the merchants or stored value facilities service providers in advance.

Upon receipt of the request from service providers, the Bank will send a SMS or email notification to you. You can confirm such request by using two-factor authentication via logging on to Corporate Internet Banking.

You can confirm such request via Corporate Internet Banking or Corporate Mobile Banking within 5 working days. The request will be suspended if no response is received in over 5 working days. You have to submit the request again with the merchants or stored value facilities service providers.

Some merchants or stored value facilities service providers may not require their customers to confirm the eDDA request via the Bank. Please check with the merchants or stored value facilities service provider whether confirmation from the Bank is required.
