Internet Banking/Mobile Banking Currency Linked Deposit


  • Customers can invest Currency Linked Deposit through the Internet Banking or Mobile Banking platforms
  • Deposit currencies and/or linked currencies includes: HKD, USD, EUR, AUD, NZD, GBP, CAD, JPY, CHF and CNH
  • Minimum investment amount: HKD80,000 (or its equivalent in the relevant currency).
  • Tenor: 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 4 months, 5 months, 6 months (185 days)
  • Service hours: Mondays - Fridays: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Except Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays)
  • Customers are required to have a valid “Investment Profile Questionnaire and Vulnerable Customer Assessment” and derivative knowledge.

 

Remarks: For desktop, please access the service by Safari v15/Chrome v95/IE 11/Firefox 85 or higher browser versions. For mobile devices, please access the service by iOS 12/Android 8 or higher operating system versions. If you are using browser or operating system which is not listed above, the service may not operate properly.

The user guidelines of Currency Linked Deposit service in Mobile Banking and Internet Banking are as follows:

For Mobile Banking:

Logon the Chong Hing Mobile Banking and select “Investment” on the main page, then choose “Order Placement” under “Currency Linked Deposit”

For Internet Banking:

Select “Currency Linked Deposit” from the left of main page, then choose “Order Placement”
