Notice of Amendments to the content of Credit Card Charges Table of Chong Hing Bank Limited

Dear Cardholder,

Effective 6th August 2007, the content of certain fees and charges referred to under Item 13 of our Chong Hing Credit Card Charges Table will be revised as follows:

13. Transaction(s) outside Hong Kong / Non-Hong Kong Dollar Transaction Fee(s)	Amounts of those Transactions processed outside Hong Kong and / or in currencies other than Hong Kong dollars shall be converted into Hong Kong Dollars at the VISA / MasterCard exchange rate on the day the transaction is processed by VISA / MasterCard. Such exchange rate plus a service charge levied by the Bank are detailed as follows: For a VISA transaction: 1.5% charge per transaction amount for Hong Kong dollar / non-Hong Kong dollar transactions made outside Hong Kong (inclusive of a fee charged by VISA at the rate of 1% on the transaction amount) 0.5% charge per transaction amount for non-Hong Kong dollar transactions made in Hong Kong For a MasterCard transaction: 1.5% charge per transaction amount for non-Hong Kong dollar transactions made outside Hong Kong (inclusive of a fee charged by MasterCard at the rate of 1% on the transaction amount) 1.3% charge per transaction amount for Hong Kong dollar transactions made outside Hong Kong (inclusive of a fee charged by MasterCard at the rate of 0.8% on the transaction amount) 0.7% charge per transaction amount for non-Hong Kong dollar transactions made in Hong Kong (inclusive of a fee charged by MasterCard at the rate of 0.2% on the transaction amount) The exchange rate is determined on the date that the transaction is processed by VISA / MasterCard, which may be different from the transaction date and therefore subject to market fluctuation.

0.5% charge per transaction amount for non-Hong Kong dollar transactions made in Hong Kong

For a MasterCard transaction:

1.5% charge per transaction amount for non-Hong Kong dollar transactions made outside Hong Kong (inclusive of a fee charged by MasterCard at the rate of 1% on the transaction amount)
1.3% charge per transaction amount for Hong Kong dollar transactions made outside Hong Kong (inclusive of a fee charged by MasterCard at the rate of 0.8% on the transaction amount)
0.7% charge per transaction amount for non-Hong Kong dollar transactions made in Hong Kong (inclusive of a fee charged by MasterCard at the rate of 0.2% on the transaction amount)

The exchange rate is determined on the date that the transaction is processed by VISA / MasterCard, which may be different from the transaction date and therefore subject to market fluctuation.
