Customers can use the Chong Hing UnionPay Gift Card at all worldwide merchant locations that accept UnionPay Cards and perform instant access to local currency via any of the UnionPay ATM networks outside Hong Kong. PIN entry is required for each transaction. The Card can be used for more than one transaction up to the stored value and the procedure for using the Card is the same as that for existing UnionPay debit card. The transaction amount, ATM cash withdrawal amount and / or ATM cash withdrawal fee will be debited instantly from the Chong Hing UnionPay Gift Card account.

No. You can perform instant access to local currency via any of the UnionPay ATM network outside Hong Kong. The exchange rate is determined by reference to the exchange rate adopted by UnionPay. However, a HK$50 ATM cash withdrawal fee will be instantly debited from your Card account on each transaction.

No, Chong Hing Bank will reduce the balance in the Card account in accordance with transactions and / or ATM cash withdrawal (including the ATM cash withdrawal fee) having been effected. Transactions will be rejected if you do not have enough stored value in your Chong Hing UnionPay Gift Card.

In such cases, the Card can no longer be used, as Chong Hing UnionPay Gift Card cannot be reloaded. You may choose to retain your Gift Card as a collectible item, or properly dispose of it. There is no need for you to return it to the Bank. The expiry date of the Gift Card is imprinted on the card face beside "GOOD THRU". The first 2-digit from the left hand-side is Month, and the next 2-digit is Year (e.g. 10/12 is October 2012).
